Antonis was born and raised in Anogeia, Crete. His deep passion for technology and digital applications led him to the University of Naples Federico II, where he studied Computer Science during the decade of the great digital explosion (2000–2010), a period marked by rapid developments in computing systems and the internet.
After completing his studies, he made a conscious decision to return to his hometown, choosing to invest his knowledge and experience in the local community. He became actively involved in the dissemination of technology both as an entrepreneur and as an educator, designing and coordinating robotics and programming learning programs for primary and secondary school students, with a strong emphasis on experiential learning and creative thinking.
At the same time, remaining committed to his roots and values, he created and continues to run the family-owned restaurant “Arodamos”, driven by the desire to highlight the authenticity of Cretan gastronomic heritage. The philosophy of Arodamos is founded on hospitality, a sense of familiarity, and respect for the cultural identity of Anogeia, blending tradition with contemporary digital practices.
He holds a Master’s degree in Intelligent Information Systems and Human–Computer Interaction from the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication of the University of the Aegean, focusing on the relationship between technology, culture, and user experience.
His interests include travel, gastronomy, exploring new technological products, and developing digital cultural applications. He firmly believes that culture—driven by technology and empowered by the digital era—can be placed on new foundations of sustainable development and creative expression.
