Cultural Workshop: From Creation to the Management of Events and Actions with Social and Cultural Impact

Together with the Municipality of Anogeia and contributors from the fields of sports, social innovation, and cultural production, we designed the first cultural workshop for the Psiloritis area, under the theme: “From creation to the management of events and actions with social and cultural impact.”

The workshop focuses on how culture and the development of cultural and sports events and productions can gain structure, planning, motivation, and tools, in order to create an active and participatory impact on society and its people.

This workshop contributes to the collective effort to reactivate the Cultural Association of Anogeia, through contact and exchange of best practices within the wider cultural and creative ecosystem of Crete.

The presentations will take the form of open discussion, shaping a seminar aimed at sharing experience and knowledge around cultural production, cultural management, event planning and organization, as well as the use of new technologies in culture.

The workshop is open to the public. It will take place on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the Cultural Association of Anogeia (Perachori, Livadi), at 18:30, with the following speakers and contributors:

Maria Dakanali – Organizing cultural and artistic productions: the roadmap from inspiration to management.
Athlit.S.Y Sports & Health Association of Minoa Pediada Municipality – Crete Half Marathon: The story behind a major sports event.
Bizrupt – Project Management: Managing a project from inspiration and planning to implementation and evaluation.
Androidus – Argastiri – New Technologies and Culture: Developing activity in the emerging field of digital culture.
