IDAology is a “living” augmented reality book (AR book) that takes you on a journey into the world of Psiloritis, bringing to life myths, traditions, nature, and the narratives of the people who shaped its cultural identity. It is the result of a collaboration between the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas, the Androidus Cultural Organization, and the University of Crete, combining innovation with cultural heritage.

It is a “living” book designed for students and children, where modern technological media provide image, sound, and movement through narrator-heroes who present the everyday history of the mountain. The reader discovers the world of the shepherd, traditions, the mitata (shepherds’ huts), and the values of pastoral life, which profoundly influenced the communities at the roots of Psiloritis.
