IDAology is a “living” augmented reality (AR) book that invites you into the world of Psiloritis, animating its myths, traditions, natural landscape, and the voices of the people who shaped its cultural identity. It is the result of a collaboration between the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas, the Argastiri Cultural Institution, and the University of Crete, combining innovation with cultural heritage.

Designed especially for students and young audiences, this interactive book uses contemporary technology to introduce image, sound, and movement through narrative characters who present the everyday life of the mountain. Readers discover the shepherd’s world, local traditions, the stone-built mitata, and the values of shepherding life that have deeply influenced the communities of Psiloritis.
