The Art of Dry-Stone Construction: The Human Boundary Between Nature and Culture.

The conference focuses on promoting local development through the integration of cultural and natural environments, highlighting key thematic areas such as:

• dry-stone constructions and sustainable development
 • local geology, architecture, and dry-stone structures
 • the relationship between humans and stone as a balance between nature and culture
 • the contemporary reuse of dry-stone construction
 • from antiquity to the digital footprint

The conference is organized by the Ideon Network, within the framework of the project “Awareness-raising actions for the promotion and protection of the mitata of Mount Psiloritis and the traditional technique of dry-stone construction”, which is part of the CLLD-LEADER Programme of the AKOMM Psiloritis S.A..

It is held under the auspices of the Municipality of Anogeia, with the organizational support of the Cultural Organization Argastiri.
