“The Art of Dry Stone Walling” The human boundary between nature and culture.

With the central aim of highlighting local development through the synthesis of the cultural and natural environment, the conference will focus on thematic areas such as:

• dry stone constructions and sustainable development.
• local geology, architecture, and dry stone structures.
• humans and stone, as a relationship of balance between nature and culture.
• the reuse of dry stone walling in the present day.
• from antiquity to the digital footprint.

The conference is organized by the Idaean Network, within the framework of the project “Awareness-raising actions for the promotion and protection of the mitata of Psiloritis and the traditional technique of dry stone constructions,” which is included in the CLLD-LEADER program of AKOMM-PSILORITIS S.A. (Local Government Organization).

It is held under the auspices of the Municipality of Anogeia, with organizational support from the Androidus – Argastiri Cultural Organization.
